Congressional District Fact Sheets Updated & Ready for Housing Credit Advocacy
The ACTION Campaign has updated its Congressional District Fact Sheets with the most recent data to support our members in their advocacy for the Affordable Housing Credit Improvement Act (AHCIA). The fact sheets now include the total number of homes developed or preserved using the Housing Credit through 2019, the most recent data available via HUD’s LIHTC database.
Access your state’s advocacy materials – including these updated Congressional District Fact Sheets – via ACTION’s United States map.
Support for the AHCIA continues to grow, with 83 House cosponsors and 20 Senate cosponsors now signed on. Help us keep up this strong momentum by bringing in these fact sheets for meetings with Members of Congress to highlight the impact of the Housing Credit and the AHCIA where you live. Thank you for all your work!
Reminder: ACTION Video Contest Deadline Approaching
Submissions for ACTION’s video contest are still being accepted through Friday, July 30! There are still $100 and $50 dollar prizes available across the six video submission categories, and the sooner you submit your video, the more likely you are to claim one of these prizes. The videos need only be between 30 seconds and two minutes in length, and should clearly mention the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit and its positive impact on your community.
Learn more about the video contest and how to submit your own video here!
Thank you to those organizations who have already submitted their videos, and we look forward to hearing more stories on the Housing Credit’s positive impact across the country.
