Reminder: ACTION Video Contest Deadline Approaching

Tell your local story of the Housing Credit’s impact where you live or demonstrate the need for the expansion and strengthening of the program through the enactment of the AHCIA.

Submissions for ACTION’s video contest are still being accepted through Monday, August 30—and there are still cash prizes available! As a reminder, these are short, less than two-minute videos. They can be formally produced or shot from your phone camera—you decide, just make sure to clearly mention the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit and its positive impact in your area. You can also describe one of the Affordable Housing Credit Improvement Act (AHCIA) provisions that would make a big difference in your community if the bill became law.

Learn more about the video contest and how to submit your own video!

Check out the ACTION Campaign’s video series if you want to hear descriptions of each specific provision in the AHCIA, which you can use as examples of policy topics to highlight in your video. Your participation in sharing local, on-the-ground stories is a critical piece of our advocacy as we push for legislation to expand and strengthen the Housing Credit.

Thank you to those organizations who have already submitted their videos, and we look forward to hearing more stories on the Housing Credit’s positive impact across the country.
