Today on this Veterans Day, ACTION honors the brave people who served on the Armed Forces. Thank you to all veterans nationwide for your service to protect our home!
Unfortunately, many veterans do not have homes to call their own. In 2020, more than 37,000 veterans were without homes on any given night. And while our nation continues to face a severe shortage of affordable housing, many of our veterans remain at risk.
Fortunately, there is a ready solution. The Housing Credit produces quality, veteran-specific housing to support the unique needs of our veterans, including special features that promote community, health, and well-being. ACTION will continue its advocacy to strengthen and expand the Housing Credit program so that veterans experiencing housing instability and homelessness have access to the safe and affordable housing they need.
