URGE YOUR PARTNERS TO JOIN THE ACTION CAMPAIGN AND SIGN-ON IN SUPPORT OF THE AHCIA!
The power of the ACTION Campaign is in our numbers. That’s why ACTION is organizing a sign on letter calling for Congress to support the newly introduced Affordable Housing Credit Improvement Act (AHCIA), S. 1557 and H.R. 3238. This legislation would help address the country’s severe shortage of affordable rental housing by protecting, expanding, and strengthening the Housing Credit. The bills were introduced on May 11 by Senators Maria Cantwell (D-WA), Todd Young (R-IN), Ron Wyden (D-OR), and Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), and Representatives Darin LaHood (R-IL-16), Suzan DelBene (D-WA-01), Brad Wenstrup (R-OH-02), Don Beyer (D-VA-08), Claudia Tenney (R-NY-24), and Jimmy Panetta (D-CA-19). As of this writing, the House version has over 70 cosponsors, including leads.
All existing ACTION Campaign members will be included in the letter, so if you are already an ACTION Campaign member, there is nothing more you need to do to be included. Please help us by sharing the letter with your networks to grow our membership and show broad support for the Housing Credit.
