ACTION ALERT: Deadline Approaching for Organizations to Sign Letter Supporting Housing Credit Bills!

REMINDER: TELL CONGRESS TO SUPPORT THE AHCIA!

Congress just reintroduced the Affordable Housing Credit Improvement Act (S. 1557 / H.R. 3238) on May 11. It currently has nearly 100 cosponsors between both chambers, evenly split between Republicans and Democrats. ACTION is working to continue building on that bipartisan support by circulating a letter to Congress, which we hope to have signed by thousands of organizations, businesses, and communities from across the country. We need your help to add even more signatures before the deadline on Monday, May 22 at 5pm Eastern! It is absolutely critical that housing advocates weigh in on expanding resources to address the increasing shortage of affordable rental housing.

All existing ACTION Campaign members will be automatically signed onto the letter but can opt out by emailing actioncampaign@enterprisecommunity.org.

Please help us by sharing the letter with your networks and partners, asking them to join the ACTION Campaign and sign their organization on in support of the AHCIA. Growing ACTION is the best way to demonstrate the broad support for the Housing Credit–and, as a reminder, membership is free!
